Both membership options (standard and The Upgrade) are for a 12month period and commence once you have indicated your acceptance in the Declarations section of your sign-up process.
Your membership will be activated on the date you sign up either as the one-off annual payment or with an initial 1 month payment when paying monthly. Paying monthly subscribers will have 11 further payments drawn on the same day every month for the following 11 months. You will be notified a month in advance by Parapluie of your 12month membership coming to an end and invited to re-subscribe. Should you wish not to continue, your 12month membership will come to an end 1 year to the day of your initial sign up.
You will be entitled to all the rights and privileges exercisable for the Type of Membership you have chosen.
You cannot transfer your membership to anyone else however you can purchase a membership as a gift for another person. Upon purchase of the membership and once a welcome email from Founder Julia Bell, please inform Julia of who the membership is for and direct contact details of the recipient. Alternatively, should you wish to gift the membership and delay the start of the membership until the gift is received please contact email@example.com for assistance in setting this up.
Any dietary or physical access requirements must be provided on joining the Members Club so we can ensure we accommodate your needs satisfactorily.
Whilst we can offer a range of suggestions as part of our programme, all travel and accommodation and related subsistence must be booked and paid for separately and is NOT included in members club payments and relevant travel insurances must be taken out by the member should they wish to partake in trips in the UK and abroad.
There may be occasions where we will have to move or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances. We will do our best to let you know of such changes to the programme in advance of them taking place, unless the problem is urgent or an emergency. We will ensure such changes or cancellations are kept to a minimum, in both duration and frequency. You will not be entitled to a refund or part of, or all of, your membership fees in such circumstances.
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform or delay in performance or, any of our obligations under these terms that is caused by an event that is outside of our reasonable control.
We will not be liable or responsible for outstanding monies paid to artists or galleries arranged directly with them post introduction via the members club programme.
Parapluie reserves the right to end any promotional offer without warning at any time.
Any special offers by Parapluie to members must be claimed within 21 days of announcement of the recipient. Parapluie have 45 days to issue any special offers.
Parapluie reserve the right to redeem any voucher or pre-purchased credit.
Members’ guest invitations
Members guest invitations are subject to a fair use policy.
1 guest invitation per person.
Guest invitations have no resale value, and cannot be exchanged for any other product or service.
Guest invitations must be used for the event solely specified and will be cancelled after the date of the event.
Members are requested to supply the name and contact details of all those using guest invitations.
General Terms of Conditions
Members must be 18 years and older.
We may assign the benefits of this agreement and our rights thereunder to a third party on notice to you. Your rights under this agreement will not be prejudiced.
As a consumer, you have the legal rights in relations to any services that are not carried out with reasonable skill and care, or are not as described. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office. Nothing in these terms will affect these legal rights.
This agreement is governed by English Law.
We may terminate this agreement with immediate effect on notifying you if you are in breach of Members Club rules.
We reserve the right to refuse an individual’s membership to the scheme, should we have reason to do so.
We ask that to the best of your knowledge you are in good health and are not knowingly incapable of engaging in membership activity and that such activities would not be detrimental to your health, safety, comfort, well-being, mental or physical condition. Further, that you will advise us immediately should your circumstances change.

Money Back Guarantee
1. As per the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you are entitled to cancel your membership and receive a full refund of any fees paid within 14 days of completing your membership application form. However as per regulation 36 of Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you select to commence your membership immediately, you agree that if you subsequently cancel your membership within the 14 day period, you will be refunded any monies paid, less an amount for the membership you have already used.
