Did you know that anyone purchasing art on behalf of clients is legally required to register with HMRC as Art Market Participants (this can apply to Interior Designers) undertake training and retain policies on how you are dealing with anti-money laundering legislation. There is also a requirement to run clients through an approved anti-money laundering check system if an artwork is over 10,000 euros or currency equivalent (this can include multiple purchases that make a total of 10,000 euros).
